Earth Spirit

Earth Spirit is a diptych that represents the life-giving energy of the earth. The left-hand panel of the composition represents the ethereal spirit that brings lightness, ease and spiritual energy. The right-hand panel is darker and represents the corporeal energy that must meet the challenge inherent in its dense materiality and suffer the pains of growth. The circular mouvement eventually brings it back into the light, into elation.
