An adolescent is awakened by his Amerindian grandfather into an idyllic reality projecting the peace, beauty and spiritual wellbeing inherent in Nature. The painting is symbolic of the awakening of the Americas and suggests the racial and social harmony that could be possible if we chose to seek the grace of spiritual awakening so that we may create this reality. The Awakening is about harmonizing our inner and outer realities through spiritual practice; the alignment of the body, the heart and the spirit.
